The Heart Foundation Walking Group is part of a broader Heart Foundation goal to encourage and support walking and physical activity to build the heart health of Australia. They work to create supportive environments for physical activity and raising the profile of walking as a fun, free and accessible physical activity.
The Centre provides an ideal environment for walking with a flat surface and air conditioning but most importantly, it is safe and secure.
The Victoria Point Shopping Centre walkers group meet each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6:30am outside The Coffee Club.
This social walking group is for people of all ages and is free.

It can also reduce your risk of developing conditions such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis and some cancers. Unlike some other forms of exercise, walking is free and doesn’t require any special equipment or training.
